Clear Acrylic HR-1 "The Hood Rat" Pure Predator Call
The Acrylic “HR1” Pure Predator Call was inspired by a long chat with a retired government trapper… “He said to kill high pressure coyotes you have to sound like no one else…” With that, I went to the drawing board and the “HR1” was born, a Acrylic Predator call that stands by itself, with its distinct distress cry, and painful shutters of agony. This call is a great call for Bobcats, Foxes, and Coyotes. The Low to Mid range volume lets you open stands up with out the fear of spooking near-by Predators.

The full line of Pure Predator Game Calls were designed with three very important factors in mind. |
Air Presentation
The method of which air is brought forth from source to the reed. Is just the beginning, Pure Predator calls have the power to be “loaded,” meaning they have the ability to store the air for the next note, while a different note, or series of notes is being released. Being able to line up notes in the call. Lets you produce truly realistic sounding sets of screams, and tears.
Exhaust
The second aspect that was designed into the Pure Predator Call was exhaust. When a call isn’t designed properly, air is just dumped from the call uncontrollably. Leaving you gasping for the next breath, and worse yet your calling isn’t as real sounding as it could be. Your call has to have a bore dimension in which air is released in a smooth, yet a specific manor. Pure Predator Calls give you just that. |
Materials
The third element is material selection. The various materials used in a call play a major role in producing realistic sounds of distress. You have to be able to be loud when the wind is ripping right in your face. You have to be soft and mellow enough when your staring down a frozen landscape. |
With everything said, you make the choice. Do I really want to use an old broom handle for a call, or do I want a call designed to do what I want to do? |
